This statement was liquid gold from my devotional today: "..We are not called to focus on the Fruit [of the Spirit]; we are called to focus on God’s Spirit." Makes me think of an apple tree. An orchardist focuses on cultivating an apple tree: watering, fertilizing, tending, cutting off diseased branches, and even pruning for growth. Things look kinda funky after the pruning and the tree feels like it's been through the ringer, but as a result of all the work of the orchardist, it produces a crap ton (that's the technical term ;) of fruit naturally. The orchardist positions the tree to produce fruit. The Holy Spirit is the orchardist, we are the tree, and the apples are the fruit of the Spirit. I dont want to focus on growing apples, I want to focus on letting the Orchardist do whatever He needs to do to position me to produce fruit. #resilientcoaching

This weekend we launched 92 people onto a Life Journey of leading others to follow and imitate Jesus. 7 Courses, 14 Facilitators, a year in the making, all for 1 God. I'm humbled that I get the privilege of leading this process. Lives and legacies will be shaped by this and the Great Commission will be one step further in being fulfilled as we make disciples together through the love and power of God #lifejourney #whosinyourshadow @lifechurchcantonmi

Life Journey Launch Update: Excitement is building as he had toward the launch of our discipleship courses on Feb 1st! To date, 56 people have signed up and over 20 leaders are being equipped to facilitate these transformational experiences. Our team is working hard to finalize course video edits, course guides, room renovations, etc. This is a spiritual adventure you don't want to miss!
